Shoe Faces

This is a side of my second pair of shoes. Each face has its own story.

Blue face: This actually wasn't originally even going to be painted on. This was the first square that I painted and I had a angry face on under it. A few weeks later, I decided to go over the face and paint the bucktooth glasses kid on instead.

Green next to blue: This one is a super hero and is probably the simplest one I painted. It had been the start to changing some of the original faces into looking more 3-D-ish.

Purple clown: I thought this up during class while we were suppose to be writing in our homework assignment book. I actually wrote in their, "Paint clown on shoe."

Yellow above blue: This is the only face that I ended up keeping from my original sketch.

Black diagonal to yellow: I still don't really know what this is. While I painted it I had to use light colors so this is kinda what happened.

Yellow mustache: This is one of my close favorites. Its supposed to look like a chef with the little French mustache.

Red under chef: This one is very obvious. But I was inspired to do this from a painting a girl did at my art camp. It was of fish with those nose and mustache glasses and looked really cool.

Orange under red: This is your stereo-typical nerd with the glasses and braces and freckles. I love this one because it came out better than what I thought it would look like.

Orange covered by laces: My dad gave me this idea. I can't remember what we were talking about but it had something to do with beating someone up. (Don't worry he was joking.) Although you can't really see it, this square has a cut and black eye and all that good stuff.

Black under orange: A rich snobby square...

Red under black: A very sleepy yawning square with bloodshot eyes.

HARRY POTTER: This might just be my absolute favorite face of all. I hate reading. Honestly, I can't just sit there and read a book. I will read if i have to like for school. Instead of reading a book, I download them on my ipod. Doing this gives me the freedom to draw or do a word search while I listen to a book. While I was working on my shoes, I was listening to Harry Potter. That gave me the idea to paint Harry Potter on my shoes wearing a griffendor scarf.

Purple next to Harry Potter: just because it makes me happy.
